Selected work
- Case-tracking system for a legal department
The office tracked its litigation on paper and in scattered documents. Storing it was the easy part: the work was matching a way of working that already suited them. It also had to be Arabic-first and right-to-left throughout, which is a layout and typography problem rather than a translation one, and anything it printed had to be acceptable as an official document.
- Microscopy image processing and 3D reconstruction
A z-stack is a volume rather than a picture, and what the people using it need out of it is a shape. Real microscope files arrive with their own metadata conventions, and the volumes are large enough that direct convolution is too slow to keep the viewer interactive.
- A real-time renderer built from the maths up
The lights move with the player, so none of the lighting can be baked ahead of time. Every light is recomputed for every pixel of every frame, inside a fixed frame budget.
What the work backs up
Each of these is a claim. Follow one to see the projects, roles and study that demonstrate it, and why each counts.
